Since things are kind of slow around here I thought I'd post a few pics of a critter that is not going to make it much longer living in my garage -
My wife saw this little guy sticking his head out from between two boxes in my garage yesterday. When she called me at work and told me about him and I told her to whack him with something she instantly acted like she worked for PETA.
All I had were visions of him chewing on my taxidermy racks, my bow string, etc...while I sat at work thinking the worst.
She couldn't get him out of the garage before she had to go to work, so he got to hang out there all day. When she got home he was sitting on my Block target kind of acting like he was waiting for her. I finally got home and was able to see him scurry under my work bench never to be seen again. I was on a mission to eradicate this little bastard but I could not find him to save my life. There was droppings and pee all over the place, but this morning I didn't find any fresh sign of him.
I will be armed with a Red Ryder BB gun after work today......
What do you think would work best? Finding his bedding area and sitting between there and his food source? Building a natural blind and waiting for him to appear? Putting a stand up in my garage and bait him with chunks of cheese?
Just thought you guys might like to see him...he is kind of a cute little guy - until I find one chew mark on any antler in the garage!!! I'd never seen one before and origianlly thought it was a mink, but I was a little confused.
Think he'll go Boone and Crocket? Maybe I'll do a life size mount on him if I get him.
