Are they going up hill now? Getting better? Lower National Debt? NOOOOO!
Key principals Obama stands for and you should not.
Gay marriage
Abortion
Amnesty
Big Government

Pretty Simple stuff here that you should be concentrated on opposing, Im not talking about little stuff here.

Im an idiot huh? May be your mom should have went to the abortion clinic or should have swung both ways. Oh wait if it was up to you/Romney she couldn't. Keep religion out of government and let people run their own lives.

Wow. Its OK to sling a little mud at each party but dang, that's a little too far.

No need to get to a personal level with it. Its politics, no one will ever agree on it but its sure fun to argue about as long as it is civil and in good fun.

No facts to argue so you personally attack a person, and try to play at emotions. People get the most aggressive when backed into a corner and no where to go, just look at Biden in that debate.

Keep on proving me right over and over and over and over again

Like I said you can base your choice off of a personal value or your emotions all you want. Just remember how and where that value or emotion is when this country collapses due to crushing debt and socialism, then tell me if that value is even a choice anymore.

1)This question is for Hardwood11 "why would a person want to degrade or weaken the country in which they live?" Their kids and family will have to live here as well you know.
2)We cannot afford to be isolationists (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/isolationism) When you talk about the US on a global scale you have to take into consideration everything thats going on. You shouldn't trash talk a pres. for doing something on a global scale if you don't know what is being gained.
I brought up the NWO thing simply to point out that Obama/the Democrats are not the only ones with global agendas. Both parties are playin' that game. You'd be foolish to think otherwise.

I don't know why he is trying to do the things he is doing? His father who played a limited role in his life...always believed that the US was too powerful and that all countries would be better off if the US was not such a powerful country. Apparently our president believes this as well.

Obama explains this in his book. He talks about the 1% and that is actually globally (the 1%). He wants everyone to have a fair chance, robin hood ish...take
from wealthy give to poor...and he is not just talking individuals, he wants the US to be more on the level of other countries.

Read a little about it...he does not deny it, rather he (Obama) mentions it quite often in the past four years.

He spent time in other countries during his childhood, and has major sympathy towards Muslims and third world countries.

In his book, he states in reference to Muslims..."I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction"

That is just one major reason why I want Romney and Ryan to win...there are thousands of reasons really!!

My other thought is if the rest of you are so brilliant then run for office and try to please the Billions of people in the US. If you can please EVERY single person I would be Happy to admit I have been wrong this whole time!

Thats why we have seperate parties. If we all thought the same this country wouldnt be where it is today

After going through this election year the idea seems a bit more logical/possible than it ever has before. Unfortunately, according to some of you on here I would not be rich enough to run for any office as a Republican and I have had too much personal success in life without giving any of it to those that make less money than I do. I can say this, I work at a major educational facility and I have said common sense just isn't so common anymore ever sinse I started here. It seems that its not just here, the entire country has this issue. Money management is not hard, its called common sense.

Congratulations to Hardwood11! Of all the things said here regarding politics, your comment is the VERY first one to actually make me stop and consider wether or not I will vote for Obama again. I had not considered his view of global redistribution of wealth.
Things that make ya go hmmm....

The Obama supporters are probably the guys that also think private landowners should let everybody hunt their land because it's their 'duty' to help the less fortunate. Not a single person, by law, has to be charitable. Free enterprise allows a person to gain wealth and keep it for themselves (less lawful taxes). It is up to them if they want to give away the rest of what they EARNED. Some think that the word EARN means the blue collar way which involves lots of 'hard' work, but the truth is a lot of rich people earned their money by taking financial risks (no physical labor) that anybody could have taken with their own money. If they would have failed, they could have lost it all. They took calculated risks and succeeded when nobody else would, but now you 'everybody deserves a fair shot' liberals think that that person should give more money to the people that didn't take the risk that could have made them rich, but instead sat on their hands. What a joke. Liberal's official color should be green (green with envy). You are jealous of successful people and think you should get a piece of the pie for merely existing. This system strives for mediocrity, and America should strive to be great. Play the cards you're dealt. Any poker hand is a winner, you just have to play your cards and place your bets correctly.

So your saying there is a chance:way:

Romney paid 14% on his investments. Do you know how much he paid on that money the first time around? We have a tax code that is set up to encourage saving and investment. A reduced tax rate on investment income allows individuals (yes, that includes middleclass) to have a chance to look forward to retirement. Its called compounding interest. Without it I would not be able to see my investments outgrow inflaction or my own personal savings rate. Romney is not exploiting the system. He is simply benefiting from lower capital gains taxes that are available to everyone. That's called smart investing. As a low middleclass representative I can clearly see that the tax burden is not fair. I pay very little and someone else pays much more to make up for what I dont have to pay for. Sounds like a great system - one that only Washington could develop. All this crap about taxes really shows the ignorance of the masses.

What scares me to death is if 100 million of us each pay $10,000 and put it strictly to the national debt we would only reduce it by 1 Trillion. So hard to fathom that kind of money we owe.

You want to solve the debt problem, make it a flat rate tax. Everyone pays 18% or whatever, and you never see it back.

Seem fair, absolutely, plausable, absolutely not because Washington created a system where 50% of Americans don't pay taxes.

Why should a guy that went to school for 8 years, busted his ass and was rewarded for it by obtaining a job that pays 6 figures be penalized for being successful. Why should a guy that took every dollar he every earned and put it into his passion and something he believed in and turned it into a million dollar business be punished by having to pay more taxes, knowing darn well he could have lost everything by taking the risk.

The guy that makes 250K a year, good for him, I gurantee that 95% of them bust their butts and are worth every penny. Why does that guy get penalized for being successful.

The medical device companies of America, one of the only business sectors to continue to grow (although at slower rates), why do they deserve an increase in taxes, you want to end success in an area, slap some taxes on it and it will go away quickly.

Simple and easy. Obama can't stand successful people. Like many true to that party they believe that the areas that are most successful should pay more, whether it be individuals, businesses, or countries. This absolutely blows my mind.

Time to wake up fellas, we should all be promoting success. We shouldn't be sitting back and letting people ride others coat tails and collect money thru the welfare system, we shouldn't agree to continue to increase the time alloted for those on unemployment, If you can't find a job in 18 months, it may be time to look into something different or to take a lower paying job until the economy turns around.

We shouldn't be ok with 50 millino americans on food stamps. We shouldn't be ok with 44 consecutive months of unemployment rates > 10% (those that think it is 8% you are fools because this doesn't account for the folks that just said screw it and quit looking for employment altogether). We shouldn't be ok with our money getting pissed down the drain by the government by investing in crappy energy technology. A sure fire way to win at that game is to pick the low hanging fruit, continue to support the coal, while we continue our research in other energy areas. Don't just throw crap at the wall and hope it sticks, get someone in office that will be smart with our money. We shouldn't be ok with federal government telling us how to run schools. We shouldn't be ok with federal government controlling our healthcare.

Lastly, be a man. Blaming the past 4 years on the past is cowardly. If you want to go there we can blame Bush's financial failures on Clintons' Fannie and Freddy policy, which led to the collapse of the two.

Instead of being a coward, work with the people of America on both sides and get chit done. I don't have the answers to fix it and it is obvious that the Change doesn't have the answers either. Time to get someone in office that will be a man, take responsibility for their actions, and get this country back on track.

Read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead and honestly tell me you don't see parallels with current events. I'll seriously doubt you.
