Blazers glued & too big......now what?

Tell me more about your setup? .... I have been shooting blazers with a deluxe whisker biscuit for 2 years now and could not be happier with the results. Are you shooting with one vane up? I rotate my nock so one vane points straight up and the other two will then straddle the stiffer...

    New Equipment Reviews

Interested to hear any good or bad feed back on any equipment that you guys used this fall that you really liked or disliked. By new I mean not necessarily new on the market, but new to you this season. For me I switched to Wasp Hammer SST 3 blade fixed heads... I shot 3 does and a buck with...

    Lone Wolf Stand Question

I generally leave my seat down. I have 2 stands that I usually put up in early September in my core late pre-rut, rut area and I do not take them down until the first milder weather day in late December. I find that the foam on the lone wolf has a sort of film over it so it does not absorb...

    Under Armour Gloves?

I bought the Under armour camo liner gloves and they work very well in cold weather if you have a pocket to keep your hands in or they work fantastic inside a Heater Body suit.... but what I would suggest you check out is the Under Armour Coldgear Derecho Convertible mitt. I also bought these...

    Brother's Bow Buck

Nice pictures.... I am very interested in these ScoutGuard cameras.... it appears that the pictures were taken 1 minute apart. If the camera had been set on video mode, would you likely have been able to see the buck walk down the trail toward the camera? or is the video mode only a few...

    Bow holders

I use the short EZ Hanger almost exclusively... I took a hacksaw and cut off most of the hook so that there is only about 1/4" hook remaining. That way I can run it through the top of my cam and quickly and easily grab my bow and remove it without worrying about hanging up on the large hook.

    Treehopper

I too have used the Treehopper drill and bolt system for years. I personally can't imagine a system I would like better....however, I really have not used the drill bit system much (ie. cordless drill)... I much prefer the hand drill they sold years ago. It takes slightly more effort, but I...

bringing the bow up into your stand

I have been using the hunting hoist for years.... it works awesome... spring loaded reel that self winds the line as you pull up your bow... also works great with firearms... I use the belt clip model.... simple rope or cord may be cheaper, but tangles, etc. especially in the dark are just not...

    LW Stick Users

I can't take credit for this idea... but someone mentioned some time back about using a tool belt hook like they sell to hook your cordless drill on your side. This idea works great I bought a hook for $7 that is adjustable side to side so I can fold it flat against my back... you can easily...

    This Sucks

Yes, I agree..... this morning's air felt good. I work till noon today then I am off work until Tuesday afternoon This milder weather is setting the stage for an explosion of daytime rut activity to occur next weekend... the projected high temps starting next weekend is in the mid 40's...

    The Ghost

I swear by the Hunters Specialty spray.... I have on more than one occasion seen deer stand in my exact tracks and not detect where I had walked. Mature deer, bucks and does...not just yearlings. I generally spray my boots tops and bottom before putting them on UPWIND of my exhaust on the back...
