    Bow vs muzzeloader

So out of curiosity, when you are at the range, after a couple of shots, when you go to swab the barrel, you take the breach plug out and then run some patches down it? And then put the plug back in and reload? Ive never heard of that, thats why Im curious...

    Bow vs muzzeloader

I guess I never understood the speed breach thing.. The only time I ever take my breach plug out is when I'm cleaning the gun, and I'm definitely not in a hurry at that point. Even if I was in a hurry, I don't think the 10 seconds it takes me to task my breach plug out is going to make or break...

    Nebraska or Kansas??

Hunted nebraska several times, kansas only once, so my experience is limited. I would tend to lean towards nebraska from my experience, especially on a DIY/knock on doors type hunt. Im sure it varies alot across the state, but in my experience, many of the kansas people seemed fed up with...

    Vertical pins?

I used a Trophy Ridge sight with the vertical pins for a couple years. They were alright, and worked fairly well when shooting at live game, but shooting targets or anything was very tough if it was anything besides 20 yards, since you cant really see the top or bottom of the pin - You just...

    Lone wolf alpha/climbing sticks deal

Bingo.. The "rejected" stands are 100% the same stands as all the others made in china - they were not rejected by LW, they just werent paid for, so the distributor wanted to sell them for cheap to get their money back and LW had a hissy fit.. Liv4Rut- the only concern I would have about your...

    spot hogg anybody?

Yep, and not that it matters on the single pin, but for guys shooting multiple pin sights, if you order from the factory, you can also order it with different pin sizes.. For instance- on my sight, my top pin is .029, and the others are .019.. I think I am going to send it in to them though and...

    BH209 Cleaner?

Are msalow and I the only ones that use rubbing alcohol to clean this stuff up? I dont remember where I heard to use that, but thats what I have been using and it works awesome. As mentioned, the powder is oil-based, so the alcohol takes the residue off quite easily. I usually swab with two...

    best climbing sticks?

Depends on what you are looking for in a stick.. Portability and silence? Lone Wolf.. Muddys are probably a little nicer to climb because of the double steps, but they are a little louder and heavier than the LW (well they are advertised as the same weight, but they are shorter - so heavier...

    GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! Debate 2

This country could also do wonders by reverting back to the fundamental of "...and to the REPUBLIC for which is stands". If our government treated this country like it was meant to be treated, it really wouldnt matter who was in office.. Our founding fathers would puke if they could see that...

    Which Binocs

The vortex warranty is the best in the business - no questions asked, doesn't matter who's fault, fully transferable, no receipt or warranty crap to fill out, and quick replacement.. Also, for the money, vortex glass is probably some of the best value. I've compared them to nikons, leupolds...

Bow Hunting gloves for cold weather

I still wear relatively thin gloves, but I use a hand muff to keep my hands warm. After buying one, I couldnt imagine hunting without it when its cold! If its real cold, you can put a couple hand warmers in there too..
