Got back last night from what has now become an annual trip up by St. Croix Falls for panfish. Had a blast caught and released more big bluegills than should be allowed and kept a bunch to munch on too. The perch and crappies were slower this year than last but a good time was had. Here is one...

Yesterday my local chapter of the NWTF, the Bluff Country Long Spurs held our 10th annual Learn to Hunt. Each year we have taken out 10-12 individuals usually kids who have not hunted turkeys and may not have someone to take them turkey hunting. Saturday was a day filled with classroom work...

If these are the same 3 elk, then Harpers is a bit far north. The one's that I know of are just off of B45 between Marquette and Monona. I work with several of the landowners who have had run-ins with them and several pics. Sounds like a game farm had an escape and do not want to admit it...
