I was just looking through my cabelas and i got a little interested with the head lamps. Think that they might be handy when getting dressed in the morning and when gutting deer at night b/c your hands will be free. I like the alaskan guide ones with the green light that doesn't spook deer...

I guess i will just note that for the next time. I think that it would probably be safe to keep the meat that didn't smell either, don't you think. It smells like good deer meat does. From now on i'll either quarter and put in garbage bags in the fridge or skin and pack with ice.
