This year will not compare to any previous one because of the late start. 1st season will not be a true 1st season because of the late start... and so on down the line. One week difference in the Turkey woods is huge.

On page 26 of the Regs. there's a "Weapon Legal by Season" chart. Archery isin't marked for shotgun season's 1 and 2. So someone explain to me how this is a legal deer.

I have 4 books by Gene Hill. He leans to the upland and waterfowl side of things, but that was my hunting roots so I really enjoy his stuff. But he also covers a wide range of odds and ends. If some of his dog stories don't make your eyes water you ain't got a pulse.

I'm getting ready for a new bow this year. Looking at two bows, same price, and the numbers are practically identical, IBO, weight, etc. etc. One difference: One bow has a magnesium riser, the other aluminum. So which would you lean towards and why? I will shoot both and see what happens. Thanks.
