I think the numbers are down, but I also have a theory that all the loud mouth birds get killed off quicker in the breeding season so we are breeding more shut mouth gobblers than loud mouth. Just a thought. What do you guys think?

I agree with you I think the best is yet to come. Next 5 days should be very hot around Mid-Missouri. I saw three buck on the way to work today dogging does. Wish I could cancel school for a couple of days and fill my bow tag and then go straight into rifle season.

My dad e-mailed me this weekend and told me that he had located a Bushnell laser rangefinder @ a Pawn shop for $60. The only thing that he can see wrong with it is that it is reading in meters not yards has anyone ever seen one like this? Is there a switch that ahnges it from meters to yards?
